Chapter 1

The Big Sploot

The aliens lived in a dimension all on their own, yearning to meet others like them. They explored every corner of their known universe and yet found no signs of intelligent life. Ever curious and ever optimistic, they kept looking for ways to find new friends.

A revelation by an eccentric inventor changed everything. While cleaning up after a long day of testing fuel reactions, [redacted] had an epiphany. It came as they stared at the fractal patterns of grime trickling down the shower drain. As the multi-colored layers of grime spiraled out of sight [redacted] realized that maybe their reality was just one layer of many.

With ample funding and the will of the planet behind them, [redacted] led a unified effort to build a massive laboratory in orbit of their home world. The facility was dubbed the ‘dimensional gateway experiment’. Here they would be able to test exotic matter in relative safety.

After countless failed experiments with all types of exotic matter, progress was made. The first successful portal remained stable just long enough to allow [redacted] to stick an arm through. Success is a relative term, seeing as their arm came out covered in purple slime, but it was a good enough start.

Each test became successively larger and more stable, eventually being deemed ready for large-scale use. Ten thousand of their greatest explorers gathered at the space station, their ships docked and prepared to set off into dimensions unknown. Each ship was to be sent to a different coordinate, along with inter-dimensional friendship packages for anyone they might find.

While [redacted] was fine tuning the gateway device, the explorers were having a celebration banquet to cheer on their upcoming journeys. This is when the event later known as ‘The Great Sploot’ began. While the explorers cheered over space juice, trouble emerged from the heart of the experiment. A growing, turbulent vortex emerged, aggressively pulling in tools and errant food, and quickly spread over the expanse of the space station.

As the vortex grew in size, ever larger pieces of the space station were pulled in. Aliens rushed to their ships in an attempt to escape, but the vortex became too aggressive to outrun. Eventually, the entire station was pulled in, along with the explorers and their fleeing ships.

Crash landing in regions all across Earth, and even on the moon, the aliens found themselves with virtually no memory of their past, or the details of the experiment.

Each alien finds their own way to integrate or adapt to everyday life on Earth. How will yours?

The Big Sploot

The dimensional gateway experiment catastrophically backfires (later known as The Great Sploot), the vortex sucks all aliens in, spitting them out into an unknown region of space.

The first 100 Early Explorer Aliens are the first to come to Earth, landing one by one over the course of many days to make sure the planet is safe for the rest of the aliens to come to.

Base Camp

After confirming that Earth is safe, the next 1,000 Explorer Aliens land and start setting up a base camp for the final 10,000 Everyday Aliens to safely land.

The Arrival

Alien Rankings

An aliens' rank comes from its position on the Space Station, where they were preparing to explore the metaverse... that is before The Big Sploot happened. Now, with their memories wiped clean, all they have are their "Space Station Employment Badges" that hint at their past life. Higher ranking aliens seem to be regaining their memories at a faster rate... but why?

Rank 1

Senior Officers

The first to leave the Space Station during The Great Sploot. Escaped in high-tech ships and safely landed on Earth.

Rank 2

Officers

Along with the Senior Officials, the first to leave the Space Station during The Great Sploot. Escaped in high-tech ships.

Rank 3

Lieutenant

The Explorers already had their ships prepared for space exploration and took off as soon as there was sign of trouble.

Rank 4

Engineers

Having designed most of the ships in the station, the Engineers had first dibs on which ships to take, only after the Officers.

Rank 5

Technicians

The Technicians were working on fixing up rundown ships and were able to takeoff in the ships that were almost fully repaired.

Rank 6

Support

Scrambled to find ships to escape in, only junkers were left, which barely turned on. It's surprising they survived the crash landing.

Will there be a pre-sale / allow list?

Yes, we call it our Abduction List! You can get on the Abduction List in multiple ways through giveaways, partnerships, being an active community member, and more. An allow list spot allows you to mint 1 Explorer Alien and 3 Everyday Aliens. An Abduction List spot does NOT guarantee you an Early Explorer Alien.

What is the difference between the Early Explorer Aliens, Explorer Aliens, and Everyday Aliens?

Early Explorer Aliens were the first 100 aliens to land on Earth, they scouted it out to make sure it was a viable planet to land on. After the Early Explorers confirmed that Earth was safe the next 1,000 aliens, the Explorer Aliens, landed and started setting up a base camp for the final 10,000 Everyday Aliens to safely land.

Are there any additional benefits to owning an Early Explorer or Explorer Alien over an Everyday Alien?

Yes! The aliens that risked it all for the safety of the rest of the alien population will always be remembered and have been given special Explorer and Early Explorer badges to recognize their valor.
